Welcome to the official website of Catalyst, the high school ministry of First Baptist Church of Elk Grove!

A Catalyst is something that speeds up a reaction, an agent for change.  This is exactly what we hope our ministry would be: an agent for change in the lives of students and families.  Catalyst exists to passionately enable students to REACH their friends, GROW in Christ, and SERVE just like Jesus.  We seek to accomplish these purposes through various programs and opportunities. 

For students, we’ve got everything from crazy connecting events to Bible studies; from camps and retreats to service opportunities and mission trips.  For parents, we’re here to walk with you as you grow your son or daughter up in the faith.  Let us know how we can come alongside you in this journey.
