	MEET THE STAFF! PHIL FULLER Pastor to Senior High Phone: (916) 685-4821 ext 133 pfuller@fbceg.org I am excited to be serving as the Pastor of High School Ministries here at First Baptist Church of Elk Grove! Having grown up in this church, I have a deep love for this family. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Krista. We enjoy eating good food, hiking, playing games, and hanging out with good friends. We are also addicted to Lost and The Office. On my own, I enjoy pretty much any sport – especially basketball – and simply spending time with people. Since college I’ve also become a bit more of a nerd… you’ll catch me with my nose in a book quite often. I graduated from Westmont College in 2004 with my B.A. in Religious Studies. I served part-time with the youth ministry here at FBC during my summers throughout college and then full-time upon graduation. In the fall of 2005 God called Krista and I to Denver, Colorado where I earned my Master of Divinity degree with an emphasis in Youth and Family Ministries at Denver Seminary. During this time I also served with the high school ministry at Cherry Hills Community Church. Krista and I just recently found out that we are expecting a baby and we’re super-excited for our spring arrival. Krista actually broke the news to me on our anniversary… but I’d found out the previous day when a loose-lipped nurse at the doctor’s office mentioned that Krista had called. I spent the next day excited but silent about it, knowing that Krista likely planned to let me in on the secret at our anniversary dinner the following evening. So in the meantime Krista was thinking “If only you knew…” while I was thinking “I know, but you don’t know I know…” Long story short, we are both very excited to be parents and we covet your prayers for our baby and Krista during the pregnancy.

I like learning about history and different cultures Favorite Books: Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers- all her books are great however. I just get blessed everytime I read them
